Notes on Becoming is inspired by katrina sotera’s journey to understanding music as a core passion and necessity in her life. With a mix of alternative r&b, jazz, and neo-soul arrangements, katrina explores what it means to transmute difficult emotions into power by owning their vulnerability. After years of combating anxieties around performance and perfectionism, this EP represents a step forward in accepting herself as a musician, songwriter, and artist.
