Once upon a time I had a panic attack and after I calmed down I asked myself, why do you react that way? Being so negative to yourself when things are hard? So I sat down and wrote this. Some songs take time to marinate, but this one rushed out, like a huge wave bringing me to shore. For a long time I didn't really know what to do with it until I realized I needed to stop trying to change the music, and just let it grow. Grateful to Robin and Nate for helping it bloom, to Joelle for always seeing me clearly, and to my parents and kuya for their patience and encouragement as I logged my 10,000 hours.
